FLORIDA STYLE

1980'S

EVOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CHAIR

While driving through Coconut Grove, Florida in the early 1980’s, Michael noticed an interesting hedge that became an inspiration for the Miami Chair. The design presents a perfect balance between form and function. The chair won numerous awards and starred in a national ad campaign for Stark Carpet. Today the Miami Chair has gone through another refinement – thinner proportions, softer curves and a new name – The Grove Chair.
