About the project

Located in one of the most desirable communities in the heart of South Florida, Michael Wolk changed the lives of his sophisticated clients by adding his magical touch to their private residence. Recommended for the project by the real estate agent, “this family was sophisticated and well traveled. They were a pleasure to work with having previously furnished several homes.”

Wolk was offered creative freedom by his client, paired with their full trust. And, voila, “I brought warmth and the ability to live casually within a very austere space.” However, this was not a simple task. Michael had to ‘create a flow through’ from the interior to the exterior, and “I had the innate ability to make very high ceilings with tall volume and allow for a rather intimate feel.”

With lots of custom work within, from the two-story living room wall paneling, to Michael Wolk’s custom pieces, “I also made their dreams become a reality with the dining room that had a built in buffet, their family room wall units, consoles and ottomans, and the master bedroom had a bed and headboard which were all custom designed.” They also had commissioned Wolk for a one-of-a-kind coffee table, custom carpet runners on the bridge, a master study floating desk and storage wall, plus custom his and hers master bathroom, vanities, a large round ottoman and a carpet, too.
